Our work
Three focused programs. One measurable conservation model.
The first operating model is intentionally focused: build urban canopy responsibly, restore habitat through partnerships, and create long-term community stewardship.
Program 01
Community Canopy
Beginning in Stockton and San Joaquin County, this program is designed around climate-appropriate tree planting, care, maintenance and canopy-building in communities where trees can provide durable environmental and public benefits.
- Site and species selection before planting
- Landowner/agency permission and maintenance commitments
- Tree-care and replacement planning
- 6-, 12- and 24-month survival monitoring where feasible

Program 02
Forest & Habitat Restoration
Rather than attempting complex landscape restoration alone, the organization’s early strategy is to work with experienced land stewards, nonprofits, agencies and technical partners.
- Native habitat and riparian restoration
- Partner-led field implementation
- Invasive-species and stewardship support where appropriate

Program 03
Nature Education & Stewardship
Environmental education turns one-time activities into a culture of stewardship. Future activities may include volunteer events, youth learning, tree-care instruction and citizen participation tied directly to conservation projects.
